Crossposting problems

I haven't seen anyone else saying they can't get crossposting to work. I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong, as it seems to be a very simple procedure.

I have a different user name on livejournal, but I entered that name when I set up the account.

I've tried two different posts, one access only and one open to all, and both times got a crossposting failed notice. Checked livejournal to make sure, and the entries are not showing up there.

Anyone have any idea what I can do about this?

I'm also curious about this... I have the same userID both here and at livejournal, and my crossposting isn't working either.

Odds are very good it's the same problem as below, your password may be wrong.

Edit: Also, your username is the same on both sites, your userID on LJ is #697090 while on DW it's #54686, not that it's in any way relevent, my brain just had to go and check as the odds were fantastically small.

See, now I'm *really* confused, seeing as how it worked for Erda's but not for mine. I've checked my password (it's actually the same as DW) - and I tried InsaneJournal as well and neither are cross-posting.

I'm also not getting a notifcation of corssposting failure.
