iframe support and open id opinions

Hey Y'all,

I was just now trying to put a GoodReads widget on my profile, and it looks like something isn't working. There is whitespace where the widget should be, and the GoodReads logo, but none of the content is showing up. I check the code and everything looks good, though I did note that the widget uses iframe. I tried to search the web, yet I couldn't find anything that stated whether Dreamwidth supported iframe. Does anyone know?

Also, I was thinking about using Dreamwidth's open id capability to sign on to Livejournal, since some of the communities are more active there. Does anyone do this? What are your experiences with it if so?

Thank you for your time and attention.

I use my OpenID account on LJ for following communities. The only problem I had so far was that customers_suck rejected my membership application saying that they require a "true" LJ account :/

Off the top of my head, a lot of external widgets don't work on dw because they use javascript, which is not allowed for security reasons.

I use my dreamwidth open ID anytime a link takes me to LiveJournal, and I've never had a problem. I have to accept fewer options, like editing and icons, but that's all. Even replies to me at LJ arrive in my email, so all's good, though I may have once had to associate my openID with my email at LJ; I can't quite recall.
