Crossposting?

So, I keep hearing that there's a crossposting function here, but haven't heard anything about how to actually do it. I tried searching the FAQ, but couldn't find anything. Could someone fill me in please?

Yes - only one account per free user. If you go here you can temporarily upgrade your account to a paid one, but it goes away when open beta goes live on April 30. At which point if you still want a paid account, you'll have to actually pay for it. :-) Paid accounts can add up to 5 other services for crosposting, although I believe at this time they must be LJ or LJ clones like Insanejournal or Deadjournal.

so, if I upgrade and then the account goes back to free once open beta starts, can I still crosspost to multiple accounts or does the ability go away?

That one I'm not sure of. Likely, though. I know that if you add a bunch of icons, you'll get dropped back to only 6 (your other icons will still be there, you just won't be able to access them unless you upgrade). It's probably the same sort of thing for this.
