Duplicate feed

There appear to be two copies of the PhD comics feed: phd_comics_feed and phd_comics_feed. Can anyone spot why there isn't just one feed? Can they be merged?

There is an admin tool for merging duplicate feed accounts, but it's broken at the moment, having never been updated for the Access/Subscribe split (since subscribers of both the initial accounts also have to be subscribed to the resultant account).

It's not scheduled to be fixed before open beta, but is something we're hoping to have fixed by launch proper.
