Reading comments on the same page

I use Firefox and installed the LJ add on long ago that allows me to open cuts and comments and make replies on the same screen I'm reading in. Is there anything like that for DW? Or is there any chance that it's in the works somewhere? I love that feature because I don't want to open a new tab for everything.

Thanks for any help.

The html shortcuts can be turned on for any site or for specific other sites, they work fine for me here.

I've actually been thinking of trying to fork that plugin anyway, not for DW, but stripping out all the LJ specific stuff and making it a general blogging addon, I'll have a hack around and see if I can figure out where to start.

I haven't looked too hard, admittedly, but is it released/licensed in such a was as to be easily forkable?

I'd sort of assumed that it might be more reasonable to start from scratch, I like what the plugin can do but I'm not at all wedded to the original interface.

Theoretically, any Fx plugin can be forked, from what I understand, might not technically be legit to do so, but the .xpi files are readable.

But I've never done it, and can't find the profile folder on this machine to have a look, I think I've hidden it somewhere silly :-(

Try this method for locating the folder with JavaScript: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Using_the_JavaScript_or_Error_Console :)
