Import weirdness - XMLRPC failure

I've successfully imported several times in the past, but today when i tried it I got the following:

XMLRPC failure: Client error: Invalid text encoding: Cannot display this post. Please see http://www.livejournal.com/support/encodings.bml for more information.

I checked the encodings page, read the explanation, and figured it meant that some weird characters had gotten into the posts somehow. But both posts look completely innocuous. I checked the known issues in the wiki, but didn't see anything that looked like this at first glance.

Go to the link and set your encoding. It doesn't mean that there are strange characters nessecerily, it just means that the encoding for the posts is not standardized across your whole journal.

LJ switched over to a certain type of text encoding a few years back. If you have entries from before they switched, they need to be re-encoded to standardize to the new format.
