invite codes

will I be provided invite codes tonight once the site is up and public?
I came here by way of someone else who got an invite. Is that why my invite was refused?
also how many invites would i be able to get? or is that just totally random?

[staff profile] denise just made a post in [site community profile] dw_news that answers that question. :) Yes, you will be getting invite codes tonight. She didn't say how many, but [staff profile] mark said in IRC that it'd probably be 3-5.
