I fixed the Semagic tags issue based on a comment in the LJ post for their last release, and it was pretty simple, assuming one has imported their LJ posts into Dreamwidth.
1. Within Semagic, switch to your Dreamwidth journal if you aren't already there. 2. Open Journal> View History 3. Select an older post which you know contains tags, and click the Edit button 4. If you haven't already set Semagic to Edit in Main Window, you'll get an editing popup window. If this happens, click on the little arrow button and select Edit in Main Window. 5. There should now be a box containing the tags from that post right below the "Picture to Use" box. 6. If the tags box is there, log out of Semagic. 7. When you log back in to Semagic, select your Dreamwidth identity from the login list, and then click Login.
You should now see the Tags box as normal. You should probably click the Update link just to be sure all your existing tags are available. If this didn't work, repeat the steps and choose a different older post. On one of my machines it worked the first time I did it, but the other one took two tries.
