Journal Import Speed

How long does a journal import generally take? My LJ import's been running for roughly two hours at this point, and I'm not sure how to judge whether it's working as expected (intended is another story altogether).

For reference, my LJ's had fairly regular posts for roughly five years, so there is a lot to move. Just looking for a reassurance (or confirmation of broken-ness, either way.)

EDIT: Eight hours later, entry import is complete. It's still chugging on comments. :)

Hi! It took several hours for my very small LJ to be imported and it looks like a lot of people are joining today. I wouldn't worry.

Mine only took 15 minutes, but I was early on and didn't have many entries. Given the number of people around, two hours might be reasonable if you have a lot of stuff. If it's not sorted in another couple of hours, I'd suggest opening a Support request at http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/submit

Also, it's not a silly question ;)

I bet it really depends on how much you have and what the server load looks like right now that everyone's getting accounts. I did mine mid-afternoon on Easter Sunday and it transfered seven years worth of posts in maybe half an hour? Comments took longer. I'm sure that the load and queue was relatively low though.
