I second the 'this made me chuckle' comment! (Pretend I have a smile/laugh/lol/ha ha icon.)

Can't you just delete all and start over? It may take a bit to do the deleting but only a minute or two to re-upload six icons. (I'm surprised all your previously uploaded icons are still there. Do you *see* them but just can't use them? I've always had a paid LJ account w/extra icons so I don't know what typically happens when you lose those privileges.)
