Poll markup?

I could have sworn that at some point during the closed beta I saw someone mention that one of the bits of LJ-specific markup that was changing was the markup for hand-coding polls - the lj-poll, lj-pi, and lj-pq tags. Now, of course, I can't find that post in my bookmarks, and I'm beginning to wonder if I imagined it. Anyone know if this is true?

I did check the FAQs, but I wasn't able to find any mention of handcoding polls at all, markup changes or no markup changes.

I couldn't find anything in FAQs either, but a little experimentation says:

poll
poll-item
poll-question

ought to do it.

If that's true, how will it affect crossposted entries?

We'll just have to see if someone posts how it works. The other changed mark up actually is translated over to link correctly in livejournal. So maybe the same happens for polls?

Polls crosspost as a link to the poll itself on Dreamwidth, so markup doesn't matter.
