syndicated feed of DW account on LJ, help?

This is probably not exactly what this community is meant for.

I would like to set up a syndicated feed of my DW account on LJ, but apparently creating feeds requires having a paid account these days. Unfortunately no one I know has one. If anyone here has a paid account on LJ, would they be willing to do this for me? As far as I know, it won't have any negative consequences; you can create as many feeds as you want. If all else fails, I'll pay the $5 for two months of paid time, but I'd rather not give them any more of my money.

Out of curiosity, why do a feed instead of crossposting?

feed vs crossposting

unfortunately the net result isn't _quite_ the same. because LJ doesn't allow any ownership of feeds, and also doesn't turn off the comments, people are free to comment on your feed account on LJ (many do, not knowing that one doesn't receive the comments), and you'll have no option to turn off the comments, nor to have them emailed to you.

if you crosspost from DW, you can do either.

no, it doesn't sound dramatic at all. i completely understand not wanting to crosspost; i wouldn't do it either if my flist weren't ornery and needed some time to adapt. i'll stop doing it by launch.

i just wanted you to know all the options and drawbacks. :)
