RSS feed from Twitter

I've been enjoying Lexa Doig Twitter on my DW since I don't have twitter. I'm thinking of creating a few other RSS feed acct of other actors/actrees.  I read the FAQ about feed, but it seems one of my attemp failed as in there's no update coming into the feed :(
Can anybody help ? Thanks.

It can take a while for entries to appear in the feed. Dw - and any feed reader, really - checks for new posts only periodically. Once every hour is a typical schedule and the feeds I've created haven't typically showed posts straight away. So it might just be a matter of waiting a bit to see if the entries show up.

Alternately, there might be something wrong with the feed, but I can't tell you anymore without knowing the link. :)

I'm pretty sure I did something wrong... the source of the RSS doesn't link to the twitter

I was trying to make Misha Collins' twitter into feed

Is there any way I can edit this... or should I delete this and start over ?

If I enter it into http://dreamwidth.org/syn (without going so far as to actually make the account), it says there isn't a feed account using that URL set up yet. Usually, I believe, multiple accounts get made because many sites have multiple ways to access the feed, (e.g., atom, rss1, rss2, feedburner vs. native syndication). I'm not seeing alternative URIs for twitter feeds...

I don't think there's any harm in making another attempt. You can make a request to the powers that be to remove the first one.

DW hasn't got around to looking at that feed yetm#, the first check can take up to 25 hours.

On the other hand, Lexa has Twitter? Cool.

It usually takes a while for a feed account to update for the first time. Someone besides me may have a better idea of how long.

I was trying to create Misha Collins's twitter... (see above reply) he just start twittering on May12th, but the RSS source just doesn't link to there... so I think I did something wrong :-(

Oh for goodness sake. That's what I get for doing an incredibly cursory reading of the post. I thought you were asking about creating that feed, not creating other ones. Apologies.

Hee! She is addictive, isn't she? I never did anything with twitter before, but I always get excited when her posts start to pop up.

one thing I wish is that it would kick us back when there is already a feed to that source! I had created lexa_shmexa_feed and you created one as well and neither of us could see one was already there! there are endless xkcd feeds too!

yeah... the list of feeds in DW scares me ... I did check for Misha's feed though.. there seems none made his yet.. he started twittering on May 12th, so people in DW might not know that yet.

Yeah, I thought it was supposed to only allow one feed of a source, but apparently not. I wouldn't mind seeing the feeds merged, if it's possible. I like your name better anyway. *g*

It can take up to 24 hours (sometimes even a little more) for the feed to update.
