I like the new layout of the "manage your circle" page...

What do the asterisks mean? The column they are in is not labeled.

This is the custom colors column. They show which colors (background and foreground) you've chosen for each journal you've subscribed to. Default is black on white. You can customize the colors at http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/circle/edit#addfriends

Note that only certain layouts are able to display custom colors on your Reading page.

You're welcome. Here's how LJ describes it: # Many friends page styles also use foreground and background colors for your Friends when displaying your Friends' entries.

i never really used that feature on LJ and I doubt I'll use in on DW, but now I know what the asterisks mean. I appreciate it.
