What's the current extent of DW draft capability?

I'd love to have drafts for multiple posts going at once, but I'm not sure if that's an option. If it is, how would I choose to work on one particular draft as opposed to another? Any clarification y'all can offer would be much appreciated.

It's not possible yet. A spec was posted long ago (Bug 29), but that seems to be as far as it's got.

The draft post feature is still in development. The most recent info I've seen was this post in October at [site community profile] dw_biz asking for thoughts on how the feature should work.

my workaround for drafts is to simply save it as a private entry and save it periodically as such while i'm working on it. then copy&paste into a fresh entry once i'm done, and delete the old entry. not the most elegant method, but it works.

And one can have them tagged "draft" or something, to help find them.

I'm glad you're copying into a new entry, because simply making the old entry public is doomed to disappointment because of how stuff appears on the reading pages.
