How to create personal mood themes

A few days ago I created a custom mood theme, but it took me a little while to figure out how to create a custom theme without having to copy & past hundreds of links... I'm probably not the only one experiencing this problem, so I thought I could share my newly acquired skills with other Dreamwidth:ers ^^

Don't use Picasa

Thank you for your post. It was useful to me for several reasons.

I would like to add though, that using Google's Picasa does not seem to be the best free photo sharing website for this task. Unless I am doing something wrong, Picasa used a different URL for each mood photo. I'd already gotten that far so I went with it but really, it was just as long as uploading the pictures one by one from my hard drive. Oh well. Lesson learned. I think. I hope.

Oh, sorry, I included this information in the trouble shooting section, but I admit, it's easy to miss there... I've described the whole thing more in detail now and also added a (small) list with sites that do change the image names/urls.

But I'm glad your found my tutorial useful anyway ;) :)

I might try to add a second mood theme and use a different site so I find any others that don't work so well I'll let you know.
