they can read them by simply going to your journal if your journal is set to public -- that is, not locked in any way. You control that, as well as whether you allow anonymous comments.

do you mean how do they make your DW journal show up on their friends list? They would have to create an RSS feed for it on the LJ side.

yes, exactly.

or as another commenter said, you can keep your LJ (or create one) and set up your DW journal to post simultaneously both places. that's very easy too.

Or the OP could cross-post if they have an LJ account already; no RSS feed required then.

right; if the OP wanted to maintain two journals the crossposting function is a piece of cake. That's what I'm doing.

If you've imported friends and/or comments, they'll have an OpenID account created for them. I haven't used the importer for a bit, but it should allow for this automatically.

You don't actually appear to have imported friends or comments, if you don't want to do that, you'll need to do each individually, and they'll need to login here so they have an account that you can give access to--the OpenID login box is fairly easy to find.

I think you can just import using the importer, but I've not used it since it was finished.

that's if she wants her lj folks to comment nonanonymously on the DW side.

but I think she was talking about how they could "see" her DW journal from the LJ side. For that she'd need either the crosspost function or the RSS thing.

I think that's what she wants to know, yes. But I think you can give them access implies she wants to grant them access to locked stuff here. I'm sure she'll get there.
