Metadata handling problem

Hey! I just managed to install for myself a mood theme. However now I would like to set the mood theme pic left, like I have on my LJ account:

I managed to install Flexible Squares layout from LJ in here Dreamwidth. I would love to get also the working mood theme layer code for Flexible Squares layout as well.

When I tried to add the same layer which I have on my LJ account (http://community.livejournal.com/s2flexisquares/355359.html) to the same section where I have flexible squares layer, it doesn't work :(

Has anyone managed to make the code work over at Dreamwdith?

This is how my metadata section looks now:

Thanks!

Okay, try something like this in your Custom CSS box:

.currentmood img {position: absolute; left: 0; top: 0;}
.currents {position: relative;}
.currents div {margin-left: 93px;}

Gosh, I love what you can do with just inserting Custom CSS on Dreamwidth!

Yeah. And although that won't work on some really tiny mobile screens, or maybe IE6 or earlier, it should be fine in most other cases. :)

I'm trying to do much the same thing, only from a base DW layout - but the .currentmood and .currents elements don't seem to exist. Do you know if they're they eventually going to come into all the DW layouts? If they are I can definitely wait 'till they do, rather than fight the eternal metadata battle. ¬¬;

I'm not sure, actually - I thought the CSS was already meant to be consistent across all layouts. It may be worth posting a new entry in here to ask.

Huh.
Well, in any case your code does absolutely nothing, so I guess there's something strange going on. Is posting here or at [community profile] style_system better, you think, for this kind of issue?

[community profile] style_system is probably better - I forgot when I was commenting that we weren't already there, sorry.
