Importing only entries with certain tags?

Hi! One of many newbies here. I've imported one journal, and I see that it's possible to merge journals by importing another one into the first one.

My question is, is it possible to select only certain entries from the second journal for import? Say, ones which have a specific tag? I know that's asking for a lot, but it would be really convenient.

Thanks!

I regret to inform you that this feature isn't available yet, no. Might be in the works, but probably not soon.

Depending on how many entries there are, this might work for you:

Set your minimum security to private, so that all new entries are posted as private.

Import your second journal.

Then set the minimum security back to the level where you want it.

Sort by tags, and entry by entry make the entries with that specific tag public or access-locked or filtered as you wish.

You'd still be stuck with all those entries that don't belong, but depending on how you use your journal that might not matter?
