Creating a feed

So I tried creating a couple of RSS feeds and I think I may have put in the wrong address for one of them. Do addresses have to start with "feed:"? And if I did put in the wrong address, what do I do about it?

The feed is here: http://nickelinthemachine-feed.dreamwidth.org/profile

I think now that the address I should have used is: feed://feeds2.feedburner.com/nickelinthemachine/BLEI

Thanks for the help.

I think feed addresses should start with http:// just like any other link:
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/nickelinthemachine/BLEI

I bet you could put in a support request to change the feed URL :)

Normally when I'm creating feeds (which I have done a *lot* of, lately *g*) they start with http:// - I've never started one with feed://

That looks ok to me - if you click through to the profile, and then on the xml button link from there, you get a valid page. I think if you wait a bit you should find it picking things up properly.

If it checks and fails, then you might need to get it changed. But I think that's fine.
