Saving settings for custom journal styles?

Is there a way to save changes you've made to a style? I want to play around with the new styles, but I've made some changes to my current style. I'd like to have my current (edited) style as a back up in case I'm not satisfied with the new one.

I've poked around a bit, but couldn't find anything on this, so forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.

You're a paid user, so you should be able to see previous styles here:

Not surprising. IT HAS HORRIBLE UI. HORRIBLE.

It was an interface made for programmers who didn't have to use it much and is pretty much hidden in the flooded basement in the cabinet marked "beware of the leopards", you know?

We have yet to drag it into something usable by dabblers. (We want to, though.)

Wow. I, umm, just tried to track it down from the top, and I realized that the here be dragons bit got me every time, especially since it's grouped with CSS/layers customization and I just play with the colors/module layout.

Is this not available free users, or is there a limit on how many previouslies are saved for free users?

I'm not exactly positive how it works for free users, which get around one of each layer type, so I don't know if the previous ones save any, or if maybe they can get *one* back and just keep one set of custom layers, or what.

Hmm, my free accounts have a few style modifications saved, although I haven't done any layer modifications on any of my accounts. Those accounts haven't had as many color/module modified styles as this one does, so it's a pretty small sample, but there's at least one interim layout saved that I was playing with before I gave up on it and switched to something else.

*resists the urge to learn to change layers just to see what happens - the to-do list is entirely too long as it is*

And I can totally help people around the dragons. But, someday, less dragons hopefully.

Your willingness to help around the dragons is very much appreciated, and your navigational aid and Dw are both awesome.

We have yet to drag it into something usable by dabblers.

This is the third or fourth time I've seen someone needing to be linked to that page this week. Ergo, I think we need to up the priority on dragging the UI kicking and screaming into Fruitbat Century.

I will start working on mockups of how I think it should work.
