LJ in Reading page

Is there a way I can read my LJ friends journal entries on my Reading page? Does it involve making a "feed" of their journals?

For now I'd recommend reading LJ on LJ, because a feed won't be able to pick up friends-locked entries. Dreamwidth is working on making it so you can subscribe to LJ journals and read them the same way you can read Dreamwidth journals, but it's not there yet.

Do you know how we can know if they do it? Maybe there's some board or community where such things are announced?

Why yes! Something this big will certainly be announced in dw_news; you might also like to subscribe to the_dw_herald. (The Herald is not an official community, but it's pretty good on posting that sort of update.)
