any word on what's up with comments being imported? mine still say they are queued as of three days ago. eveything else imported fine.

I think the official advice from mark is "try it again"? *g* I know there's still work being done on the importer, so hopefully the problem will be fixed soon, if not yet.

No, they didn't, they used MY name! (or, alternatively, it detects your name and uses it automatically... *g*

And the idea wasn't mine - vass signed up today, and she said "I've subscribed to a metric tonne of communities, but the one community that I could really use is dw_n00bs, for people like me who aren't quite in the loop and don't know every detail of every bug yet - a community to ask "Is that meant to happen?" I thought that was a totally fantastic idea, so I suggested it in IRC and people leapt on it with cries of glee. So here we are! *g*

And yes, this comm is very needed. I put together my little proto-FAQ bundle because I saw people asking the same questions over and over again, and I couldn't think what else to do. This is a much better approach.
