Renamed LJ account; crossposting broken

I've renamed my LJ account; crossposts now (predictably :-) ) don't work. As far as I can tell, the correct thing to do is manually replace my (single) cross-post account. The FAQ says: You may delete your target journal from the crossposter at any time and reconfigure the crossposter to crosspost to a different journal.

I don't see any way to do this under Account Settings --> Other Sites. Advice, please?

(Relatedly - I note that many people on my flist who are crossposting avoid having the "Crossposts to:" footer on their DW posts. Again, I can't see any way to remove this; is this because I'm a free user, or am I overlooking something important?)

First, check "delete" and save. Then add the new journal you want to crosspost to, here: https://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/externalaccount

If you want to get rid of the "Crossposts to:" footer you have to uncheck "Display Crosspost Link".

That should work for both paid and unpaid accounts.

Oh, I see. The delete box is right next (to the right) of the "Details" link - seems like there's part of the right side not displaying. Is there a scroll bar at the bottom of your page?

You'll definitely have to delete the old settings first before the other page lets you submit new information.

Yeah, the site schemed pages don't scroll properly horizontally; they fail to provide a scroll bar. I filed a bug/suggestion some time ago on that one...the only solution right now, i think, is to realize that the window is cut off on the right edge and widen it..
