It appears as though I have made the error of deleting my style--by which I don't mean my custom style, but the basic style. Now everything in my journal's basically in format=light or something, and if I go to switch styles (back to the current default b&w) or do anything similar, I receive the following error message:

[Error: No layout id given. at /home/dw/current/cgi-bin/LJ/S2Theme.pm line 308. @ dfw-web01]

How do I fix this?

Thank you!

You need to use the advanced customize system to fix this. You have a beta-paid account, so you can go to: http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/advanced/styles.bml. On that page, enter a suitable name in the Create style box, click "Create". That should reload the page with your new style showing. Click "Edit", then select something meaningful from the dropdown menus. The Core version should be 2 to keep things simple. Then select "Zesty" or "Negatives" for the Layout option. Save changes, which should return you to the Styles page. Finally, click "Use" by your newly-created style. If you do that you'll reset things to the default and should be able to use the normal Customize pages again.
