Profile layout

So, I've found a bunch of communities that offer layouts for DW journals, but I didn't manage to find one that offer layouts for the profile bio page.

Do you know of any community/user that propose layouts for the mini bio on the profile page?

I'm not sure that profile code found on LJ will work here, does anyone know about that? (because the one I had on LJ didn't like the transition to DW ^^;;)

As far as I know, nearly all custom profile layouts won't look right here on Dreamwidth. It's possible other site schemes handle them better (I use Celerity), but I'm not sure.

A good place to find profile codes (generic and otherwise) is LJ-mintyapple. :)

The stripping is a known bug that's planned to be fixed, but it's not a high priority IIRC, getting the Big Stuff fixed is better and the stripping is needed for security, plan is to get something else doable within the profile, or to get profiles styled as part of the journal.

My personal desire and I think it got approved (not positive) is to make it so that profile text doesn't get stripped for inline CSS so people can stop using so many deprecated tactics.

But to do that, we need to make sure it never shows up on www.dreamwidth.org and just on the subdomains (if enabled).

Formatting-stripping in the profile bio is independent of site scheme.
