Tag search question

I thought I remembered reading some time back that there was a way of performing a combined tag search in journals -- in other words doing a Tag A AND Tag B search. However, I couldn't see anyplace where this would be done. Is this possible?

I've done it manually. It's not pretty or elegant, but
username.dreamwidth.org/tag/tag1,tag2?mode=and
works.

So
http://getting-started.dreamwidth.org/tag/communities,notifications?mode=and
pulls entries tagged with "communities" and "notifications".

Huh, it works with ?mode=or for an or search. Cool.

The preferred terms are ?mode=all and ?mode=any - "and" and "or" were prone to getting people confused. They both work, though. :)

(and ?mode=any is actually the default in this case, so if you wanted that you can just leave off the parameter altogether.)

Oh, cool. I figured out how to do it through some around the corner googling or LJ-searching, and it's neat to know how it actually runs. :)

And, if you get confused or forget the syntax, it's in the tags faq!
