Userpic import question

I have a question about what might happen when importing userpics from two different sites, and hope someone has tried this already.

Let us say that I have the same pics on both sites, with the same keywords. Let us say I've imported one set already.

If I import the second set, I suspect what will happen is that the first set will get bumped into that "keyword is now a number" state and the second set will take over. Does anyone know if this is, in fact, the case?

I think that's a real possibility, yeah. When I imported my icons from LJ, they retained their keywords and the icon I had uploaded to DW with the same keywords got the numbers.

See, what's weird with my experience with importing icons is that I'd imported all the same pictures from LJ (plus a few I was too lazy to stuff on DW at first), and what it did was add the slightly different image tag to the already uploaded image. Hm.

When I did this, any pictures which were the same and had the same keywords remained unchanged.

Pictures which were the same but had different keywords just increased the number of keywords that were associated with them.

Pictures that were different but had the same keywords ended up with the second picture to be imported being given a number and the first picture keeping its keywords.

Er, if that all makes sense to you. If you're confused, take a look at my user pics, the ones with lots of keywords often clearly come from several different sites.
