custom mood themes

Hello!  I couldn't find anything about this in the wiki or this comm, so I was wondering if anyone's had any success with custom mood themes, or is this a known bug?  I tried to create one, and it exists as a theme I can select, but I can't set the moods to go to any images (hosted offsite); after I hit "save changes" it... doesn't, basically.  Any ideas, or should I report a bug?

I set up a mood theme just fine. You have to create it, and then link the moods to the image files before it would work.

Look at the crackified comm on LJ. If you follow those instructions, it should work fine.

Hm... I suppose it might be having to enter the dimensions of the pic, sigh.  Shall give this a try, then.

I had much better luck uploading my moodtheme using this tutorial and the console (site map > advanced options > console).

The more info this post gets, the more useful it is, certainly!

At this point my problem is actually getting my hosting site to know it's not being hotlinked off of, sigh.

I cannot remember where it was that I saw a thing about settings like that, but I swear I saw it somewhere.

Actually, it's just something my host had to allow, so all is well now. :D
