If you post to a custom access filter on DW, it will post to LJ as friends only, i.e. including friends who are not on that filter.

Ah, see, this is where my confusion was at, because I was considering the "access" filter as a sort of custom filter, and I assumed that LJ would not recognize that...but you're saying that it does?
