Reading comments on the same page

I use Firefox and installed the LJ add on long ago that allows me to open cuts and comments and make replies on the same screen I'm reading in. Is there anything like that for DW? Or is there any chance that it's in the works somewhere? I love that feature because I don't want to open a new tab for everything.

brownbetty this morning posted a greasemonkey script for commenting on the same page. I don't know if it lets you read comments and I don't think it opens cuts.

I use that add-on too and it's one of the things I miss most on DW. Hopefully the add-on is either updated to work here or the feature is implemented at some point!

I'd really like to work on something like this, either as pushing as much as is reasonable into dw itself or writing a new ff-addon that has lovely features. I'm missing my html shortcuts like mad burning :(

One thing that I love about LJ addons is the little menu bar that tells me when there's a new post on my flist and lets me open up to 50 new posts from my flist in new tabs with one click. I know that having an addon check my flist every minute is probably extremely resource intensive, but I love not having to click refresh myself whenever I think of it to find out if there's anything new on my flist.
