Does anyone know if they'll be put on sale anytime soon? I'm itching to get one.

As far as I know, seed/permanent accounts won't ever be offered again - they were simply a way to guarantee operating funds for the first year. Denise explains why they are not a good business idea in this post: http://dw-biz.dreamwidth.org/332.html#perm
