Restoring a deleted community?
I know I have 30 days to restore the community I created and then deleted, but how do I restore it? It no longer appears under my Account Settings, nor can I simply create it again because the name remains "in use" until the 30 days are up.
Here' how
You have to find the Account Status page. The way I got there was to click my own Account Settings link and then click delete on one of the journals listed there. In my case I was clicking delete on my own personal journal because that's the only other journal I have.
On the Account Status page I used the dropdown box and "Switch" to choose the journal I had deleted. Then I changed its status to active.
The hard part for me was finding the Account Status page. Clicking "delete" on my own journal was counter-intuitive to me when what I was trying to accomplish was to "undelete" a community.

, but you can't really 'select' that from that page except by handcoding it. There should be a dropdown on that page similar to what LJ has at customize/options.bml (DW doesn't seem to have that on the analogous page, either).Maybe make a suggestion?
Re: Here' how
If you'd like to make the suggestion, you aren't going to hurt my feelings. *g*
