Is there a way for DW to cross-post some kind of place holder/ link to LJ just advising people there's a new entry on the DW website?

I am wanting to post more here and less there but I still want my friends who remain on LJ to know when I have written.

Is there a way without manually doing it everytime?

There is not currently a way to do this, unless your friends are following your DW feed (public entries only), and not crossposted content. That said, I think this would be an excellent thing to bring up in dw_suggestions, as I know the development team is working on making changes to cross-posting settings, and this is a function/feature I know that I would be interested in having!
